Oxana Polyakova, Ph.D.

Oxana has served as our Senior Vice President, Research and Development since September 2026. She previously served as a senior consultant for the development of IN8bio’s T-cell engager (TCE) platform since February 2026. Oxana is bringing more than 20 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience spanning biologics discovery and cell therapy development for oncology. Prior to joining IN8bio, Dr. Polyakova served as Chief Scientific Officer of LAVA Therapeutics, developing gamma-delta T-cell engagers and, before that, Chief Scientific Officer at LIfT BioSciences, a biotech company developing stem cell-derived neutrophil-based therapies for oncology. She was a founding scientist and Head of Discovery at Adaptate Biotherapeutics, a spin-out of GammaDelta Therapeutics developing gamma-delta-targeting biologics. Dr. Polyakova holds a Ph.D. from Moscow State University.
